Spencer Rick is a musician who plays guitar, sings, and writes original songs based on life experiences and fictional tales that relate to common dilemmas and emotions we all face. Adapting blues, rock, jazz, indie, and classical genres to his own styles allow him to blend romanticized lyrics with edgy riffs, raw honesty with beautiful compositions, and catchy tunes with complex structures.
While working on over a dozen singles and a full debut album, Spencer also releases music daily through his Morning Music Clips series, providing a glimpse into his musical reach and dedication to create original work.
Spencer started playing guitar at age 10. Mostly self-taught, he deliberately avoided learning others’ songs until he developed his own style. Ironically, his own style now branches into many interesting corners of music.
